In almost every district across Kent there is an Older People's Forum. These forums are funded by KCC and supported by EK360.

The role of the Older Peoples' Forum
People over 50 are very clear that companionship, friendship, relationships, choice, independence, security, purpose, being valued and planning for the future are all important to them. The Forums address all of these issues and more.
The Forums have important roles to play in our communities:
1. They inform decision makers about the needs and views of older people in Kent
2. They offer perfect platforms for organisations, such as health and social care providers, to have fruitful conversations to help shape services for the future
3. The Forums signpost members to services and places of support so it is important that providers keep them informed about services
4. They help to reduce social isolation by providing community and opportunities to socialise
