The Local Mental Health Network Meetings are where mental health professionals, voluntary organisations, people with mental health issues and their carers come together to talk about their current experiences of mental health services.
At the meetings, we always have a busy agenda. We share the latest feedback that we’ve heard in the local area before looking at the themes and trends in the feedback to explore what we can do to make it better. Wherever possible we try to resolve any issues.
There are nine Mental Health Network meetings across the county.
• Canterbury and Coastal
• Ashford
• Maidstone
• Medway
• Thanet
• Swale
• Dartford Gravehsam and Swanley (DGS)
• South Kent Coast (SKC)
• South West Kent (SWK)
Feedback from each meeting is analysed and if there are any issues which are Kent wide, they are discussed at a County Wide Mental Health Action Group (MHAG).
